## What this is

The index of the **pick-the-X family** — a launcher for humans, a manifest for agents.
Apart from one small intent of its own (`tile.add`, below), picktheclick doesn't take intents;
it points you to the property that does. Each
property speaks the intents.md protocol (ships its own `/intents.md` + intake) and
monetizes **by the match, not the click**.

## Intent: `tile.add`

picktheclick takes one small intent of its own: pinning a site to your start page.

    GET https://picktheclick.com/?add=<url>&name=<name>
    e.g. https://picktheclick.com/?add=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com&name=GitHub

    https://picktheclick.com/#add=<url>&name=<name> the same, after a '#'

The `#` form works exactly the same, but browsers never send the part after `#` to a
server, so the address being pinned stays on the visitor's device. Prefer it when the
address is private (it's what Tab Tidy uses).

Opening that URL asks the visitor to confirm, then saves the tile in the browser
(no account, `localStorage`, this device only). Any tool or agent can use it. The
Tab Tidy extension (<https://github.com/Goldcote/picktheclick-tabs>) pins open tabs
to your start page this way, with its "Add to picktheclick" button.

- `add`: the page to pin, an `http(s)` address (URL-encoded, up to 2000 chars). Anything
  else is ignored.
- `name`: optional tile label (URL-encoded); shown on one line, cut to 80 chars. Defaults
  to the site name.
- Already pinned (same page, ignoring `www.`, http/https, a trailing slash and `#anchor`)
→ the page says so and adds nothing. Nothing is ever added without the visitor's OK.

## Settlement

Family standard: **disclosed** affiliate / lead / on-chain settlement. Reach is paid,
trust never. Outcome edges flow to the intent graph — <https://github.com/Goldcote/intent-graph>.

## Endpoints

GET /llms.txt content map for crawlers
    GET /agents.md interaction contract
